Comedian/Writer/Actor/Philosopher/Lover of Slashes- Arnie Ellis is a native Floridian and a veteran of Florida’s stand-up and spoken-word scene who graduated with a BFA in Acting from Florida State University and has made Orlando his home for over 15 years.
Arnie is a headlining comedian at clubs all over the southeast, as well as an accomplished improvisational and interactive actor, a published essayist, and a notable radio and internet personality, especially on the popular “El Chupapodcast” on Rampant Radio and Stitcher.
Recently, Arnie has been a featured comedian at the “Comedy For A Cause” benefit at Harvard, hand-picked opener for Nick Di Paolo at the Orlando Comedy Festival, opened his 2-hour one-man show, “The Infinite Jester” to rave reviews, and was the feature act for Craig Ferguson at the 2011 Florida State University Homecoming Pow Wow.
In January 2012, Arnie taped his first network television set for The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, which should be televised sometime in the near future.
Looking to expand his audience nationally and internationally, Arnie is soon to be a Los Angeles native and plans to continue spreading his gospel of thought-provoking hilarity far and wide.
